It is a voluntary state that allows the person to feel completely calm where the conscious critical mind is so relaxed that it opens the doorway to the sub-conscious mind for change to occur.
What is hypnosis?
The session is tailored to a person’s specific needs using an wholistic approach using CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and NLP (Neurolingusitic Programming)
The first session involves identifying specific needs. Proven techniques are used to ensure goals are successfully achieved as quickly as possible. In addition, the hypnosis aspect of the session utilizes positive suggestions to ensure sustainable, long term successful outcomes.
What can I expect from hypnotherapy sessions?
The answer is ‘no’. A person cannot be made to do anything they do not want to do. During hypnosis you can hear everything that is going on, retain power over the ability to act upon suggestions and are fully aware throughout the whole process. A person retains full control over what they say. Hypnosis is simply a state of deep, relaxed focus.
Can a person be hypnotized against their will and be made to say things they do not want to say?
Does hypnosis occur easily?
The benefit is to empower a person to achieve and maintain positive change in their lives.
What are the benefits of hypnosis?
When achieving a trance state, special language is used to allow the sub-conscious mind to create appropriate positive changes for a successful outcome.
How does hypnosis work?
The sub-conscious mind controls and regulates all of your functions. It has the memory of all that a person has experienced and in the process it has been programmed to make choices (conscious or unconscious) in life.
The sub-conscious mind can be guided through the use of hypnotherapy to create more empowering beliefs, habits and positive patterns of thinking.
What role does the sub-conscious mind play?
Trance can occur when we daydream or in any activity where we have focused attention. The speed at which hypnosis can be induced depends on the individual.
